This UX project was developed as a mobile application that takes users on a scavenger hunt through the city of New York. The focus was to create an engaging and enjoyable experience that encouraged users to explore the city’s attractions, historical landmarks, and hidden gems.
The project involved conducting user research to identify the target audience and understand their needs, preferences, and motivations. The design process began with the creation personas, user flows, style guides, storyboards and through iterative wireframing and user testing, a final high-fidelity working prototype of the mobile application was created. The design included a map feature that showed users the location of the various landmarks and attractions, as well as a wayfinding system that guided users through the scavenger hunt via a trivia question game. The project also involved creating engaging and informative content for each landmark and attraction, with interesting facts, historical information and other details that made the experience more immersive and enjoyable.
