This project delves into the realm of color theory and its application in fabric pattern design for apparel. By analyzing scenes, images, and their color palettes, I aimed to create unique and captivating fabric patterns that reflected the essence of the colors found in everyday environments.
The urban environment I chose to analyze was a scene from my daily commute in Brooklyn. Upon extracting the dominant color palettes, I meticulously curated a captivating collection of fabric patterns that artfully conveyed the distinctive essence of this color-inspired scene. Subsequently, I transformed these patterns into physical fabric samples, which were integrated into a range of apparel prototypes, showcasing their versatility across various applications.
